I'm a talker - so I comment everything that lands on or near me , without pausing the fight. It's like: " nope, nope, skippy, nope, nah, tip, nope, nope, low, GOOD! " I hope this is helpful to my opponent. If I fight any of you and you don't like it, just tell me. My opponent gets to call...

It depends a lot on what weather site you look at. Several show it dry during the day, but if you open up the details on the day, some show rain starting Friday night. Most have been consistently showing rain Saturday and Sunday.

I've done my time on that count.

Don't be too sad Richard. It has been raining hard this past week, so the ground will already be muddy from the start, then most reports say rain off and on from Friday night through Monday, plus "seasonable cool weather", which can mean it could be very cold, as well as wet. I'm told the ...

not all marshals have deductive reasoning powers. The letter from Asoph will prevent you getting bounced. LOL! So true. One was very flustered at my husband's close helm. He wears a very low leather neck protection under his breastplate because there is almost no room between the helm and breast, b...

My integral collar/neck protection is built into my aventail. It stands a bit way from my neck because it has to fit over my head, but it allows some air and gives lots of head mobility for ducking and such.

I grew up going to hunting camps in Imperial Valley all winter, so I'm very familiar with desert farm mud. Its the stuff that makes giant mud snowshows on your boots that get bigger and bigger with each step. Last year was shortly post-knee surgery and there was no way I was going to head out on a &...

Audax, If your rig hurts you, its definitely time to change it. Re: thrusting tip

I get what you are saying, and that would be really important if we were actually using steel or something dangerous. We are using foam covered bendy sticks. For the most part, with very few exceptions, I really don't think it is possible to make an "Unsafe" weapon. Weapon under 1 1/4&quo...

I didn't realise that "Hit him in the legs, now you're taller" was not, in fact, a joke - we don't have the rule for kneeling. What is your ruleset for legs? Usually its a kill or nothing. If its nothing, then the legshots are moot, but if they are good, then whack away. Sword and shield ...

Everyone had very good advice. I am 5'2". Tall fighters are used to fighting at their range. They will try to reset it to their advantage. The ones that are not good at passing can end up on the ropes. When a fight is reset, ensure that the Marshals allow you to start the fight from the same po...
