What did the rounded coat of plates possibly in usage in the 1380-1390's? Specifically in the Burgundy region look like?

Were they more corizzina types?

I'm using information from Talbot's German Effigies database (what a great resource), and it says that almost all the armour in effigies from that period was either Globose or rounded... I have a fantastic Globose style BP that MaddMatt made for me a few years ago, but also want a COP style as a backup.

CoP was more typical of c. 1300. They were budget -- army-surplus priced -- stuff in Wisby (1361AD), no longer accounted the state of the art. This is, I believe, a matter of record.

The early fourteenth century had a pace of change roughly on a generational timescale.

You want an earlier-style harness, have an earlier style harness. Don't confidently expect to plug an earlier piece in and have it seamlessly integrate from a historical point of view. Maybe a gamboised-cuisse set of legs with fanless or tiny-fanned cops and leave your arms mostly alone.

Thanks for the info. Since its an earlier bacinet I have a lot of options open to me...
