I want to make Shovel Greves

I want to make Shovel Greves, but i cant find a good pattern. any help would be great.

If you look in the pattern archives here, you will find a pattern for simple greaves. You can pretty easily extend the top on those to get shovel greaves.

Greek hoplite greaves extending above the kneecap.

Uncomfortable as hell for knee fighting, so not much favored in the SCA. For the SCA game you really want a flexing kneecap coverage or your greaves turn into levers trying to press your ankles down onto the ground with all the force your armored body weight can muster.
