I made these for myself for use when I play my larp game. Not historically in the slightest just some more practie for myself. The more I play around the more I learn so when I do attempt a more serious piece I will have more confidence in my abilty. So please enjoy and as usual leave input can't say it enough but without it I will never learn. Thanks. These are based off a pattern I saw here on the Archive

Very well done,
Nice clean edges, just the right amount of curve, no twisting in the splints. A very nicely done first piece.

I used a 2" diameter steel rod I have welded into a stake that I used to shape them. Used a weighted rawhide mallet to shape with. Overall learned a bit more on shaping and how to hammer the metal to get the shape I desired.
