This helm... has anyone seen its source, before? Is it SCA legal? I can't this up if it is! This is the style of helm I've been lusting over for months, now! 100 dollars is CHEAP for this style!

I've seen this before, a merchant a pennsic had one. He said it was heavy legal, but I didn't bother to check the guage because I couldn't even get it passed my fourhead, with the visor up!
hmm, he only says "original size"
If this helm is by the same maker it is fairly small. Fine if you have a small head. Otherwise it becomes a mantle piece.

Considering the notes said that you'd have to file off screws to be able to wear it, my immediate guess was that it was most deffinately NOT designed to be worn during SCA combat.
