A horse would wear it, a whore would wear anyone's for a fee, and a slut would wear it for free. Image

Wow, I always joked I am a armor whore. (Armor whore being derived from garb whore.) It's funny that I am not the only one who uses this term. Image

Anyone that can look around the computer room and count over 10 helms is a helm whore.
Welcome to the club.....

Your local helm whore,

well, i have 7 helmets (soon to increase)

almost 2 full 15th century rigs

1 and about a half 14th Century rigs (soon to increase) 3 sets of body armor for the 14th Centry

1 romano celtic ( it's like their issued here)

all Kates armor

cople mail shirts and several coifs

3 arming coats

4 sets of gantlets

so many shields i can't find em all.

Then there is all the leather stff i jst made cause i was bored.

thn there is all the half finished stff i had to qit on because i moved to a house with no shop.

here's whats scary i sold off a set of legs paldrons, arms, a helm, 2 breastplates, a couple sets of gantlets just last year.

That doesn't include modern militaria.

I think you're only an armour slut if you dabble in more than one period or locale. If you have piles and piles of armour from one period/culture only, then it's sortakinda "keeping it in the family", if you will...
