what can i make?

soon i am going to get a 2ft square piece of wrought iron sheet. an i can't f or the love of me decide what to make. it needs to be something from 1 piece but not raised. i don't have much skill but i know what i'm doing.

Make hinges and fittings for period wooden chests. That would be cool.

if only i had a period chest to attach them to. Just being thinking and maybe something like a riveted chapel-de-fer. like the one in TOMAR.

I'd say go with the TOMAR chapel-de-fer, it looks really nice.

changed my mind. i think a repro of the pembridge helm would look real cool. it's simple and i could make some iron rivets as well. does anyone know where the greathelm site has gone. it has a yellow background.
