Post by SwordForHire »

Jewlery mostly, but that's mostly what I do with Maille...

But there's a couple of pics of the glove I made...

Jam on over and have a squint or 2... follow the link in my sig to my web site, and look for the maille link...

Lemme know what ya think eh!

Nice work. I especially like the Kings Braid pattern for jewelry.

your persion looks good, nice and tight.

For armour I use 16 guage, 1/4" ID galvanised.. and the jewlery is 18 guage 1/4" ID stainless so far, but I might branch out into finer stuff someday...

it's just fer goofing around I do this really... and it's a great feeling, moving a piece of jewlery in the pub, and coming home with more $$ than I went out with...

;-)

I did take the boxed hem off and finished the coif with a proper mantle, but I have not a pic of that yet... one day hopefully!

I was hopin' someone would like that puppy!

It's 18 guage, 1/4" ID Galvanised... And it just kinda happened... I was goofing around making a "ring" of 4 on 1... and when that was done, I thought I'd try a finger.. then 3 more and a thumb.. then I just sorta One-link-at-a-timed the rest together...

It's a left hand glove cause I'm right handed... gonna be a hell of a chore making the right hand one!! LOL!!!

I have... but I made the glove so that the thumb is off centre towards the palm of my hand... A much more natural fit... But it's not reversable at all... well, maybe if I turned it inside out, but I don't even wanna try that!

LOL!!

I'm just gonna have to struggle through some day...
