A quickpropane torch question

Morning all.
Is there a torch made that will fit onto a standard propane gas BBQ bottle?
If there is, and you have one, care to share your experience?
That's all.

Yes, there is. I have a Smith torch. They can be used either as acetylene/air or propane/air (don't need oxygen or a compressor). I have 6-7 tips for it.
I mostly use it for jewelry purposes, where being able to use small tips is nice. I don't use it on steel all that much, but it's worked fine.
I have no idea how much they cost. I bought a box of stuff at an auction with it in it (and an acetylene regulator). Did some research and found it worked with propane, so I hook it up using my forge regulator and it works fine.
It's really the regulator that screws into the tank, not the torch.

I think the henrob torch will work off propane.
For the most part the smaller bernzomatic style torches work well for plumbing and general house work but not very good for metal working.

I have a Turner torch.
It is a plumbers torch I think.

The hose connects to an adaptor on the BBQ propane bottle.
It works fine for me.
Just right when the hand held small bottle torch is to small and the weed burner torch is to big.
I also use it for spot heating when working 14ga. mild steel armour.

The harbor freight weed burner plugs into an LP directly.
The Henrob torch will "work" on propane, but it doesn't heat as well as it sucks. It's just not meant to use propane.
Besides, in order to do that you need a regulator, at which point you can use any old o/a torch.

Just out of interest, do most weed burners run off BBQ tanks, or are they generally run off their own butane bottles or what?

Usualy the larger tank.
The smaller bottles will ice up at colder temps.
They can also be sold as a roof torch for tar or low pitch style structures.

It wasn't cheap, but I'm very fond of my EZ torch, which connects to a refillable BBQ-style propane tank.
It's beefier than the little brass torches that connect directly to a small propane bottle, but certainly doesn't have the output of a weed burner!

I found this:

How suitable do you think that would be?

Actually, now I think of it.....
I tested to see if my acetylene hose+regulator from my oxy-acetylene welding set would fit into my bbq tank.
It does.
If I put a cutting tip on it, could I use that rig, without an oxygen tank, as an effective heat source?
