So how dose one go about getting a rust finish on mild steal?
I have been tolled that if you have a rust finish the steal will also stop oxidizing . Is this correct?

Cool, ok so how do I do the version with the urine?
(the one I was actually looking for

rust won't prevent the steel from further rusting since it is porrous. An even russet finish could help against rust if the armour was well oiled/ greased and that thus the pores would be filled with the grease/oil.
