A new one will be chosen at Atlantian A&S festival. It is being held here on March 3rd on the VA Tech campus. There should also be displays of lots of armour from people who aren't trying for the position.

I have tried to contact Raynold, the autocrat about that, but apparently my e-mail didn't go through.
I am not going to be able to run the Royal Armourer's competition at Kingdom A&S. My work schedule looks like there is a very good chance that I won't be able to make it up there. If I do go, it will be a decision made on Friday morning. I cannot plan to run a competition when I don't know for certain that I will be there.
I'm not 100% certain what event would be best to run the competition, but am thinking to do it at either Coronation (April 7th), or at Crown (May 5th).
I would still be interested in there being an armour competition of some sort. I would be glad to provide a couple of prizes to entice some folks to enter. Let me know if you think this could work.

Good luck getting that all arranged, my car was dying when it was time to give up my office, had to rent one and drive all the way from Frederick MD to Columbia SC to conduct the competion. Master Thorbrand won.
