My first comission helm

This was built for a friend of a friend, He was looking for something with a later period feel to it and this is what we came up with. it was inspired from pictures of a few different helms, both historic and fantasy.
The visor is made from 12 gauge and a lot of getting to know my cold chisels. the rest of the helmet is 14 gauge. the finish is gloss black powder coat, though for some reason it looks dusty or grainy in the photos.
This was my first try at a lobster tail, it took me 3 versions to get it working how i wanted, and I'm still not totally satisfied. The Visor was my first time really messing about with anticlastic curves and doing anything like that with a chisel. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
anyways, pictures are what you probably want, so here goes. sorry about the crappy quality.
