I remember seeing a specific plaque belt design a long time ago, that I think was off of an effigy.
The plaques were alternating round discs and squarish "I" beams on a belt that I am guessing was around 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch wide.
(The bridging square's sides had hemispherical cuts to closely fit the discs in between.)
These plaques were all featureless- flat shapes without decoration that I assume were riveted to a leather belt backing.
I remember the design as a line drawing in a book, I think.
I'm thinking of maybe trying to make one.
Just hoping to track the original down for reference.
I've found numerous plaque belts on effigies that are just discs on the belt without bridging pieces between them, but I kind of like that articulated look.
Thanks.
