I have an art show tonight and I'm entering an all brass rose that I made a while back. My question is is there anyway to lift the patina off the petals so that they shine bright, like when I first made it? I do like how the rest f it looks with the patina on it, I just want to highlight the petals. anyway to do this with everything assembled, or do I have to take it apart and polish it, then redo it all? I have some muratic acid laying around if that helps...

Tomato ketchup!
No, seriously... it's an old antique dealers trick I was shown once- they use it to clean brass candlesticks, amongst other things.
Apply ketchup to the area to be cleaned, leave for a few hours, wash off- a toothbrush will help in the crevices 8)

Lemon juice should work too, coca-cola probably will too.
