Armourers in Calgary?

Post by Scott Martin »

Hello

I just accepted an offer with a company in Calgary, and thought that I'd see if there are any armourers in Calgary that I should know about. I think that Rob Valentine is now based in Las Vegas, and while Jeff DeBoer is still there he does more jewellery than armour these days.

We need to get Ugo and Jeff together, I think that Hilarity would result..

Any archivers out there based in Calgary? Do I need to stock up on materials before I move? Are there any particularly active local blacksmithing groups?

I'm also looking for suggestions on the best areas to live for a family with school aged kids - but if you have suggestions please drop me a PM instead of filling this thread :)

There is Peter Fuller of Medieval Reproductions. He used to work for the Glenbow and still does some projects. Dark Age Creations in the south makes butted mail and some other things.
