Aside from the bizzare sabatons and odd conections for the pauldrons, thats a fairly decent copy for the money.Made in India ya think?.....Otto

Medieval, probably not, old, maybe. I've seen 19th century "reproductions" of Maximillian armour, in pretty good condition except for a few dings, sell for $4000 -$7000. That's a bargain at the current price, if it wasn't made in the last 80 years. There was a catalog I had once which had all this antique armor (mostly helms and Indian maille/plate stuff) that I could never, ever afford. I have to stop lending stuff like that to other people...

Definitely India made. I even know the company that manufactures these. This suit is very low quality (or to be more precise, it's a piece of crap). It's not worth the money! Do not buy it!

I think his sword is dark ages, does it look Celtic or is it a spatha? Interesting pauldron strapping. Strapping is much easier to cut when the wearer puts its between the hammer and the anvil. ------------------ Idëval The Huntsman of I-Nossë Lúmëvanwa My mind opens wide when I roar

I especially like the big gap at the neck.

Just because you've seen crappier being auctions for more doesn't mean it's a good deal.

You just need that special scarf that Sir Gawain used against the green knight.
