Leather

Post by Edric »

Just thought I would bring it to everyones attention that brettsun's village has the oil tan brown sides in stock again. Excellent stuff for a CoP or splinted defences. I also noticed that they have sheepskin scrap, it would be good for padding your armor. I have baught leather from them before and I am currently working on a suit of splinted armor from it. It is really nice, hardly any markings or insect bites. The prices are good not to mention the shipping is included.

Let me add my praises about Brettun's Village. Good leather, good prices, and something that is essential for me, great service from a nice guy. Highly recomended.

Just shooting from the hip on this one...

I wonder if the cost of leather will be affected by the "foot in mouth" disease?

Foot in mouth has been covered in a previous thread. The general consensus was that since leather is a waste product of the meat industry, and what we get is largely not from England, it's not a problem.
