selling Armor making tool "English Wheel"

Post by Arssante »

I am selling an English wheel kit on Ebay item# 584838890 This thing makes complex curves in 20swg to 1/2" battleship plate, simply by rocking the metal back and forth through the anvils.... No kidding!

Bump. I don't have the money, but I'd like to see someone here get this.

I would like that as well... I purchased it to make armor with.. and it would be nice to know it went for that use.

I'd be interested in knowing why you got the larger one in the first place. The smaller one on the tools website looks plenty big.

The smaller one will not move as much steel and it would be working hard to handle 14swg as a standard.... i.e. you would be causing damage to the wheels and or frame and having to work harder to get a less satisfactory result.

I'm not an expert on this equipment, but I had a long conversation with the folks who make this tool and they highly recommended I stay away from the smaller unit for this application.
