Finally finished

Post by Klangiron Skullthumpa »

Finally I've finished!!!
I was begining to believe it would never end.
Its a 14 gauge orental 6n1 pattern hauberk
The larger rings are 3/8" and the smaller are 1/4". The friend I made it for is about 6"3" and weighs around 340lbs. That may be generous to him. I have trouble lifting the thing to work on it but he has worn it on several stages of construction and has no trouble carrying to weight. Guess its an sucess?

I'll be taking pics of it and a few others in hopes of one day doing a web page. No digicam so it will be awhile before they get back. Until they do will somebody tell me how to post a pic or a link on here.

Congradulations on the completion!

Just one note --
I'm guessing you're actually talking a JAPANESE pattern NOT an Oriental one.

(I am assuming you're talking 6 in 1 triangle pattern rather than a "doubled" 4 in 1 pattern)

I can help you with the web links and getting a simple web page done. Let me know when you have digital images.

Cheers, Lu-shan
