Regarding gas welding

Post by Sasha »

Hi folks.
I just read a scary thread that has been around for a while (just haven't looked).
I posted some stuff regarding the safety of gas welding and flashback arrestors and such at the end oof that thread.
If you have a gas welding system and the flashback arrestors are either not fitted or fitted at the handpiece end of the hoses (like Wombat advised) then please go and read the post I left. Thanks.

A brilliantly composed rejoinder has been posted just aft of yours in that thread.

For the record - and for those who just won't go read that thread but who will persist in believing I'm an idiot until the day they die - I did NOT suggest anything of the sort regarding Flashback arrestors.

There. I feel better :)

You may have gone back and edited...but I know you recommended using live gerbils as flashback arrestors!

I have rejoindered your rejoinder. So there!

And I will now use Valetii's defence against you.
(I will tuck my sword under my left arm and make a big rasberry noise at you while making elephant-ear gestures with my hands).

I never called you stupid. I mean it is not like you have ever quoted yourself in a posting or anything unpardonable like that, is it.

I really need to get some sleep now.
