Lord Stephen of Forthcastle's Pennsic Class

Post by Adriano »

It's probably been mentioned already, but I noticed on the www.pennsicwar.org class schedule that Lord Stephen is giving a class on Riveted Mail on Wednesday, August 15. I don't know if I'll start making a riveted hauberk, but I'll try and make the class.

yeah, I was there last Pennsic.. it was great to see his riveting and punching tools in person.

but I still haven't gotten around trying riveted.

wish I could go again, but found out a couple days ago that I wont be making it to pennsic this year.. hmmm.. might not make it back there for many years Image

Steve,

Is there a cap on the number of people that can attend?

I don't think I specified a limit on the number to attend - but I did put in an age limit - 14 I think.

I think the subject matter is a bit too tedious to capture the attention of anyone younger than that.

Stephen,
Are you going to have samples of the riveted mail you are having made in India at Pennsic? Also, do you have an estimate on prices yet?

Thanks,

Zanetto
