My armour is finally done!! (pics)
Well I finally got my armour done!!
I also was able to get authorized in it this past weekend.
I did all the armour myself except the helm gaunts and breast, though I did the faulds for it.
Let me know what you guys think. Keep in mind that the only steel are the elbows and knees, the rest is all aluminum. Also these pieces are my first attempt at making armour.

There is also a picture at the bottom of a crossbow I picked up at a garage sale for $15 heh heh heh
Now for the Credits,
Thanks to Sinric for the 15th century patterns.
Thanks to Gundo for the pauldron patterns.
Thanks to Templar Bob for the Gauntlets(andy ward) and the breast plate (it worked well with only a few minor modifications.
Thanks to all archivers for the encouragement
and patience with endless questions.

Ok the sword hilt, well the cross guard is made from taking steel tubbing and welding strips of steel to it to hold it together, and one running vertically so you can get a pipe clamp on it to hold it on. The ends are made from a very heavy solid piece of rubber, cut and stuck into the ends of the tubing. The grip is just wrapped in leather and tacked into place. The Pomel is a round wood block with brass screwed in. I used a 6" screw to attach it into the rattan. The griffins are stickers I had made up special.

Well the visor is now just for show, I found out I couldnt fight worth a damn with it. I had to take it off to authorize because it limited my vision way to much, I couldnt see any low shots and my low shots were going wild. Maybe after I get better I will be able to fight with it on.
