Has anyone suggested putting these drawings in the Pattern Archive? With Mr Hurt's permission, of course.

Silent "H" silent "H" silent "H" UUUUUGGGGGOOO! LOL our phone conversation will be a loooooonnnnggg one if we keep dragging out words like that. I do sketches for a release once in a while. Maybe I will stick a few artistic ones up on my site if anyone would be interested.

Micheal, Sure I am hip if anyone wants to put the drawing up somplace on the site. The Archive is welcome to put up the knee raising essay as well if JT wishes. A link to my site would be nice too ;)

Here is the link to the knee raising essay thingamahoosy - http://www.ageofarmour.com/education/index.html

Ivo, I do intend to include a section on pattern making. I have taken note and will plan on having metric measurements and weights on tools and materials.

Valerious, It's great to see you posting here. I have been an admirer of your work since I first started making armour.

Thanks all for the publishing info. I will keep it all in mind and will solicit more advice when I get closer to having a finished product. I really do appreciate the input and inspiration.

On Topic... how is the visor coming along Paul? Will you be posting pictures?

This idea might sound stilly, but...I am in contact with a German publisher...and I could easily do the translations...that would be fun and get me into a free copy...;o)

Regards

Thought this needed a healthy *BUMP* since I was reminded of it while browsing Williams site this morning.

Any further thoughts on writing that book?

a dvd rom of mr hurts would be wonderful...the dvd so you could watch his technique(sp?) and the rom portion to see the stills, drawing, etc. if he wished to include any patterns he could burn them to a .pdf format and the user could adjust the zoom till they were the appropriate size and then trace them off of the moniter to paper and transfer to steel
