polishing

Post by accdntprone »

I FINALY got some good results. I been using little 4" buffing wheels and a hand drill (go for hours and hours and get one little SLIGHTLY shiney spot) or 6" wheels on the 1/4 horse bench grinder (little better in any). I picked up some kinda lawn thingamagig at a garage sale. Not sure what it was, but it had a 2 horse power electric motor. I scavaged the motor and made a buffer, using 12" wheels. It works ever so much better. Mad Matt, you might be interested in seeing the current project. Its generation 2 of that helm I sent you.
