Tablet Weaving...

Post by Lady Claire »

I am interested in learning how to tablet weave (mostly to trim medieval garments). I have looked at some web sites but they don't really have any useful directions that allow one to get started and visualise how the process works. Does anyone out there have any helpful hints/suggestions or resource web sites that would help me get started?
Thanks,

Claire

This would be answered better on the Research & Authenticity section than Armor design & construction section.
My 10yo daughter says I'm pretty!

My lady says to take a look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SCA-Card-Weaving .

Card Weaving by Candace Crockett (ISBN 0-934026-61-0)

You may be able to get the book at your local library or thru interlibrary loan.
