Azov Coat of Plates

Post by Teuton »

I am looking for info/measurements for the Coat of Plates found in the Genoese outpost of Azov on the Black Sea. It dates to around the 14th Century and there is a picture of it in the book Knights of Outremer in the Osprey Warrior series. It is shown with a velvet covering and has two guard chains for the dagger and sword. Also, does anyone knows of any later style Coat of Plates besides the Wisby finds?

Bloody brilliant - a great help. It looks different from the one in the book but has given me a basic idea for sizes.
