I'm making myself an Agincourt kit and I'm curious about the arms. The effigies I see tend to have a two dimentional curve (like a gutter vambrace) whle the Churburg stuff (Milanese, I know) has a slightly dished vambrace. Does anyone have any pictures of existant pieces or know if they're slightly dished?
Thanks.

All of the extant vanbraces I've seen, both in the 14th and 15th century, were slightly dished.

I believe by the early 15th century vanbraces were "tuliped" in shape. A very mild dishing in the upper forearm portion with a slight flaring at the cuff.
I don't have any readily accessable documentation for this, just what I remember seeing / reading, so I could be wrong.
