looking for information 13th century heaume (esp Wombat)

A while back Wombat made a late 12th early 13th century heaume, angular top with a rounded face. Could the person for whom that was made regail me with tails of fighting in the helm and could someone please either post photos or send them to me. I would like to get some primary source material on this hat but have come up bupkiss in my searches.

Are you speaking of the Crusader "Salt Shaker" helm he made with the brass crosses around the upper section? If so, I'm the owner and would be happy to talk to you about it.

I think so, the details are a little murky. There were some problems with the initial bar grill over the sights which failed under a load IIRC. Is that your helm?

Yes, mine was one of two helms with a bit of a design flaw that Steve promptly corrected. Send me an e-mail with any questions you might have. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of it, too.
