I'm beggining to build my new transitional harness and I'm having difficulty finding a helm pattern. The particular style I'm looking for is an Onion style bascinet of a German style.

Can anyone help please?

I can't help you find a pattern. However, I can tell you that one of the armorers I talk to from time to time says that is about the hardest style to make and actually get to look right. Mac has pics of one he did that is almost a dead ringer for the original, but I haven't seen another that is quite right.
