Yup. I accidently pressed "submit" and then hit the little X, but, it went through anyway, damn computer. I wasn't about to post, either...
Stupid #67.
*All Hail Meaddrinker and the majestic and mysterious prize*
By the way, do you make armor, Meadyboy?

Well, I'm gonna' go take a shower! Not too late over here on the West Coast, yet!
G'night, all!

No, no, no. He asked for 68 replies to his post. So, you can't count the first one.
You're the winner, sir!

Meadedrinker is the proud new owner of a planishing stake, it is from a shipyard, I think it was originally a plug of some type.
It is about 4" by 4" across with about a 12" radius (I think, Halberds can tell you) That means that if the curved surface of the dome were a complete ball it would be 24" around, I think
Anyway, you will be proud of it, and I hope it gives you a lot of service.
I'll PM you with the particulars.
It will be completely free of charge, no shipping, nothing, just a gift to a fellow kindred spirit.
Thanks!

Aaron, why 68?

I was born in 68, like I said, I'm a little crazy.
I would love to have a '68 Camaro or firebird

Thanks for the great jokes and the cartoons, they were awesome.
Maybe someone will do this every now and then, the idea struck me and I thought I'd just do it.
Ya'll have a good one!

Thanks Aaron, I am very excited about this as I do want to start learning the art of smithing. Yes I think this would be a nice thing to pass on and when I am able to come up with something I will. Very cool of you to start this
By the way my new Avatar is a pic of my grandfather, He was once a blacksmith here in Newalla.

Not sayin' it's not generous and stuff but I would have made them work a little harder for it than just random posts.

Well Padrig, next time you have something to give away for free because you're feeling charitable, make up some different rules.
Aaron said the 68th replier, without making multiple posts consecutively, would get his.
So, that's how it works. Why should you care how he gives it away?

I just thought that it was a fun idea but that different rules it would have lasted more a little longer for more people around here to enjoy. And I mean enjoy the game, not more chances to win. That's all, no need for panty bunching.

I actually have enough stakes, well you never have enough but I would have liked to play for the fun only and would have re-donated if I won.

The next time the winner will be the one able to answer an armour related trivia question.

It was fun for those of us who stayed home on the A/A. At the last it was like bidding on e-bay or hunting and getting that Big buck in your sites and waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.

. I will use this believe me. I will also turn this around when I get something worthy of putting up for a give away.

Well, at least we can be sure Meaddrinker won't be winning all of them, then!
Haha, just kidding!
-Gregory-
(p.s. Padrig, the way you stated your comment I replied to, you seemed huffed that it went as it did. Your emoticon was inappropriate, if you were merely trying to give advice, rather than act discouraged about the previous contest.)

Pad, 2 minutes for illegal use of an emiticon.
Don't worry, I'll get you some sturdy
padlocks to go with that ball 'n chain, there...
I understand that you haven't been here long enough to know that I don't get huffed about anything.
Well, if that's the case, I know now.
Now you got me all confused about emoticon use.
You'll get it, someday...
