Helm buying question, please help

I'm looking for a helmet and really eager to get back into armor. What kind of circumfrence (sp) am I looking for that will make a nice fit?

How much padding is too much? If I measure about 23 1/2'' around the brow, what range of helmet should I be looking at? I saw one that was 28" circ that I really liked. Is that going to be too big?

Add 6" to the circumference of your brow line and that should be just about right.
