I've already went over that site. The belt plates are either way to expensive or don't look like they will up to the rigors of SCA Combat.
I'm looking more a belt fitting that I can rivet onto a belt, similar to the belts on the effigies in the Osprey Book "German Armies 1300-1550".
A few of the belts look like the had plates or flowers riveted to them.

Hi Arland,
Have you looked at Historic Enterprises' stuff?

Their stuff looks like it will hold up to combat better, but the cost is higher. The plates are nice and all, but $7.50 per 2x2 plate, I'm going to need $142.50 just for the plates. That's just a bit out my price range.

None of those really do it for me....and all are way too expensive.
I am getting most of my fittings for under 40c Australian...and they are of a higher quality and detail then that (I am getting the swirled flower one that you listed first for about 20c aust).
...and that is after my importer has made her 15% from me.
Find a better supplier!

Why dont you make your own? That's what I'm doing now. I going with 2" X 2" 2mm (14 ga) plates etched with a design. Check out my recent post on etching. I figure it's going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying fittings.
