Journal of the Armour Research Society - DELAYED!

I wanted to take a moment and provide some up-to-date information on the ARS Journal.
We had previously slated the end of April for print. However, our time schedule has slid just a tad. It will probably be mid-late June before the Journals are shipped. There are a couple of very good reasons for the delay.
Mr. Pierre Terjanian was kind enough to have the Philadelphia Art Museum take two custom photgraphs of the only piece of armour positively identified as being from a Cologne manufacturer for his article:
The armourers of Cologne: organization, markets, and challenges of a leading European armor-making center (1300-1648)
The 1571 waistcoat is absolutely stunning. There is a photo from the front with the waistcoat closed and another from the back, open.
There will also be two additional photographs from Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna accompanying Mr. Terjanian's article.
The other cause for delay was to allow for an article on three mid-15th century unpublished lowland Scottish effigies from Kirk of St. Nicholas, Aberdeen. Dr. Tobias Capwell has provided a superb article on the armoured effigies, accompanied by 29 photos of details and associated points of interest.
We felt that the wait is well worth the benefit and will get the much anticipated journal out as soon as possible.
Regards,
