I was going to use the sinew for my aventail but decided to go with the waxed linen thread. Anyone have a online source or 3.

Most good sewing shops sell it. alternatively, some linen thread and a block of wax work well. Be sure to use beeswax.

100/3 is a fine thread and 18/2 is supper thick. IMHO sinew will hold much better.

Hmm Ok how about a source of sinew you do trust

NP on the patterns--I wont be able to sew much for a couple weeks with events coming up--then the heat of the summer demands cooler cloths
