Question about Dragon Forge Armoury

Post by Ned Chaney »

Does anybody know what's up with Ben Scheiner of Dragon Forge? I got an email from him in Feb saying my arms would be shipped within a few days. Still no arms and now I can't get into his website and he hasn't answered my last email. The website being down worries me a bit. Anybody have any info to share??

I e-mailed him three weeks ago about a helm and he got right back to me claiming mine was next. No helm yet.

My only interaction with him was for a set of greatsword quillions that are awesome! He shipped on time, no problems.

Sorry to hear about your problems.

I know Ben. He's a good man. Nice lines on his helms, and seems to like working with stainless.

I'd be confident ordering from him.

I had generally good dealings with Ben. I had a hard deadline which he said he could make with ease but he missed it. So I missed the tourney I was planning the harness for. His communication was very good and he offered to make ammends for missing the deadline. His offer was VERY generous (too generous) but I declined because I could see by this that he is a good man. I would say give him a little time and he will come through for you in the end. If you do find out why his site is down please post it. I need to order more stuff from him soon.

Thanks I was starting to feel like I had made a mistake paying in full up front. Some times it's hard to be patient.
