Armourer Review: Willing Pell

I received a pair of bazubands and a gorget recently from Willing Pell (a.k.a. Juan Santell) and was able to try them out last Sunday. I was _most_ pleased and impressed.
The bazubands: his are normally 18ga mild, with one strap around the forearm. He was willing to make them in 16ga, with an additional strap, for a very modest amount extra. He made them to my measurements, and they fit extremely well with my padding, allowing full extension, great protection, and a great look. They are strong, and the workmanship is very good. The only issue is the back edge of the elbow cop, which is unrolled, and so would be dangerous if i did not wear thick elbow pads (which i do).
The gorget: inexpensive, pin-closure, but solid (in 18ga mild) and worth every penny.
Customer service: this is where he really stood out. There was a shipping issue (the fault of which was the shipping company, not Mr. Pell), and i received constant updates, with tracking numbers, current locations, and resolutions. Sometimes these were even multiple times per day. Always he was helpful and informative.
Cheers.
