If you post a photo of the armourer's mark, folks here might be able to help.
Ffoulkes' "The Armourer and His Craft" has several pages of armourers marks. You might get lucky and find it listed there.

I think he's trying to find a place that makes them so that he can have one made to Identify his armour.

armureriejalbert, In the american language "To Identify" typicaly means "To find the identity of". You probably want to use the words "To Sign" or "To Mark".

Depending on complexity you can grind it in the face of a piece of tool steel by hand with a dremel. You can have a profesional Jewler make it for you (and have it profesionally heat treated) or for really complicated marks, if you can lay it out on a CAD station you can have a machine shop CNC it and heat treat it for you.

I can't mention specifics but I've seen 2 or 3 and they were all may by random profesionals who happened to be in the area.

Do NOT try to use a custom stamp from Tandy. They are fine for leather but not for marking steel.

There are enough differences between "English" english and "American" english that I like to be specific. I put my foot in my boot and put my armor in the trunk of my car. :p

I found the info when I had mine made in the paper catalog. I poked around the website but didn't find the info. It might be there, I just haven't had time to find it. I sent them line art and they sent me my punch. 3/8" accross or so for around a $100.00.
