3003AL vs 6061AL for shields

What are peoples experiences using 3003 Aluminum versus 6061 Aluminum for shields?

For shields you want 6061-T6. 3003 will bend.

3003 is what you might call...
not good for shields. It will bend like crazy, on the up side you can bend it back! 6061 costs more but it's worth it.

I agree, go with the 6061. It is virtually indistructable in standard SCA combat. I've even had some 'big boys' jump on mine to see if they could affect the curve. Still curved. :D
