Greetings.
I have been searching long and hard for a pair of Greek/Roman greaves (at a fairly reasonable price) for SCA Combat. I have found a pair that I like but do not know the manufacturer. I am including a link to the picture. Does anyone here know of any armorers up to the task?

Thanks in advance

Wasn't able to add the link at this time. However I can e-mail the pic to anyone who is interested in solving the mystery.

I got mine from Valentine Armouries, http://www.varmouries.com/anc_07.html ,
however he seems to be charging rather more than he did when I bought mine (I paid $110, plus shipping).

The ones I have made are a bit different, with a larger knee coverage. Below is a picture of a couple in there, they are an older pattern from Pennsic before last.

Wow Paladin, Those are great. I have been drooling over them since I ran across a picture of them after that years Pennsic!! Were they difficult to make?

They were very difficult, about the same as making a muscled cuirass Image I made a set of the new brass greaves today and they were such a pain that I think I will not be making any more in the fuiture Image Just too much darn effort.
