I am now looking for a leather arm pattern. You know, leather forearm, leather cop with disc shaped flanges that attaches just above the elbow on the upper arm. I believe this will work well with what I have invisioned of my early period kit.
Thanks,
Cristofre

How authentic do you need it ?
I made a pattern for some leather articulated gauntlets that are specially designed for spearmen - cover the hand up to the first knuckle, and all the way back to the elbow. Nicely done, all you need is leather, a punch, some rivets and some waxed thread.
Really good for training in, and are likely vaugely period for dark age stuff.
