I'm in the SCA 10 years now but I authorized 3 weeks ago this coming Saturday.
My rig was over a year in the making. I just finished swapping out the original, Lewis Moore riveted-in-place hinge with a Brian Price hinge. Now I'd like to iupgrade my arms and legs! God! How do I break that news to my wife!!! This was supposed to be IT!

Wulfgar wrote:I play a Viking in the SCA, the armour is difficult to get looking right, you often just end up being a generi Celt, which has led me to the conclusion that i will now have two persona's. I am now doing a 14th century transitional fighting kit but will have a viking persona for feasting.

Only two? I have one or two looks (not full-blown personae, by any means) for feasts, one for camp (tres casual), and another for Rapier.

As long as I don't start blending the periods, I figure I'm okay.
