Building an armor buddy this weekend

...with the kids for my roman stuff.I have a fairly clear idea of the framework but figured I would poll the electorate here and hopefully avoid any not-so-obvious pitfalls.

Make it light weight and design it to keep the center of ballance as low as possible. A quick google search found the following.

The problem with all these stands is that not a one of them mimics human anatomy. The basic ideas can be used, but you need to look at the human body in profile and see how it deviates from a straight pole and adapt accordingly.
