Got kids in need of medieval presents?

Post by Dmitriy »

My little brother (11 years of age) was doing a presentation at school about making medieval armor, and he needed a prop. Since I live pretty far away from them and they couldn't borrow something from me, the went out and bought this:

"Cut and Make a Knight's Helmet" by A.G. Smith.

It is a pattern for an armet, complete with a bevor and visor. It looks awesome, just like the one on page 154 of AAOMK. An 11 year old can make it, and it's wearable (by an 11-year old) to some degree -- I wouldn't reccomend putting it on and taking it off all the time, but a few tries won't ruin it.

Great, inexpensive present for whatever holiday you are celebrating this time of year Image.
