A san-mai dou... with the advent of widespread matchlocks, some ingenius armourer came up with this.

I've NEVER seen one before, nor has the seller who is quite a collector himself.

Kinda neat.

It reminds me of some 16th century European cuirasses with double breastplates.

I wonder how much it weighs...
