...Doing any shop time this weekend? If anyone is, would anyone mind having a tag-along to learn something? I'm in the Akron area. Whatever time is fine, just looking to hang out with someone who knows more of what they're doing than I do...lol

Do you know Justin from Alderford? He usually has open armoring on Sundays. (Not a pro, but hey, it's an open shop!)

I'm not doing any armour this weekend (real life is keeping me pretty busy), but next time I'm up to something I could write you here.

Oh yeah, I'm not really an armourer. Not by the standards of this place anyways. I know enough to keep my gear working and bang out simple munitions stuff that isn't too embarrassing. But you'd be welcome to come hang out and maybe swing a hammer or two.

Since this weekend is Midrealm coronation in Detroit AND Blackstone Raids, you might find it a little rough finding an open shop this weekend...

Alderford is the SCA group in Canton. get thee to http://www.alderford.org and check their officers page. Justin is the webminister, and his email addy is there.
