My current kit (pics)

Post by Munz »

Well, I finally got a few pictures of my current armour, based loosely on the 14th cent. d'Abbernoun effigy. Helm, shinbalds, elbows, knees, and besagews are by Sir Luther Anshelm, I made the vambraces with his guidance. They are all stainless steel. The aventail and hauberk are by Master Nuet (sp?). The mail is all flat link, welded stainless. I made the velvet surcoat, arming coat, and gamboised cuisses. Hand sewn turn shoes are by Master Dru. Also, all of the belt fittings and buckles are by Sir Luther as well.

Check out the cool visor hinge, a quick turn and the grill is off and the visor is on. I do have a stainless round face visor that I will have to post pictures of later.

Hmmm... It was working just fine earlier. If you copy and paste it in the url window it seems to work.
