Greetings,

My SCA mother brought back a pair of those for me from her trip to the Philippines. Somehow she was able to pack them on the plane in her carry-on luggage.

The fingers on mine were attached backwards so they don't articulate.

I certainly appreciate her thoughtfulness, but what a strange gift.

Those aren't training equipment those are costumes for gods. Sometimes used in festivels where people dress up like gods outside of the temples (maybe even possessed by the gods some think) and they dance. The price isn't bad....

What I find unusual is that hwile the picture shows a copper glove, the description goes on ad naueseum about the skills of JADE craftsmanship of the Chinese? Eh?
