Putting holes in titanium?

I currently have a titanium vambrace that I am wanting to put a couple holes in so that I can attach a leather and steel elbow. I'm thinking that 3 points is enough but I'm unsure how best to put the holes in the titanium. I don't know the gauge of the titanium but it's fairly thin.
I've been told that titanium can only be cut in a non-oxygen environment. Is that true for drilling too? Would it possibly work to use a drill press and oil and just go slowly to try and add the holes?

A drill press and oil should work fine. Titanium is fairly easy to work as long as it stays cool so use a SHARP drill, lots of oil and go slow.

It drills really easy compared to stainless. You can also cut it pretty easily with a Beverly shear.

I use TI drill bits and a drill press to drill mine.
