Who makes more historical looking, non-basket hilt hlits? I know Windrose/Mandrake does, but who else? Regular crossguards/cruciform hilts. Not looking for Landsknecht or anything.

Thanks,
Christopher

Try Stefan from here on the AA. I know, right now he is doing alot of Landsknecht stuff. But, I am pretty sure he can work in other styles as well.

Tose are nice, Stahlgrim, thanks.

What do you do for the pommel on these, just put a screw into it? I remember seeing a diagram on here a while back showing how to attach a pommel, but the pommel had like tangs that ran up the side of the grip you taped to.

Does Stefan have a site? I'm just doing preliminary scouting right now. Not ready to purchase, and I'd hate to start bugging him several months before I buy.

Thanks,
Christopher

And it is no bother to drop me a line....It is my bissy season for wildland fire so I wont be real quick on the replys some times any way.

Those are nice, Stefhan. Are they steel or aluminum? And can you do something more cruciform? Something that wouldn't have the balls on the tips, like something more square-ish?

Thanks,
Christopher
