Went to Cynaguan Coronet this weekend for some rest and relaxation. Borrowed Jarl Thorfinn's bascinet (the one featured in Brian Prices book). Thought I'd post the picture baron Artus took of me

The mail shirt is welded, the aventail is riveted. Both were made by Russian artisans.

Dmitriy,

You looked really good in that hat. Worried the hell out of me when my thrusting tip went between your neck and the grill, though (during the first melee.) You did a nice lean out but it left a gap that the mail didn't seem to want to protect well. Made me pull up short on the thrust.

Thanks for a great fight. I really enjoyed it.
